Colon Hydrotherapy

Dr. Pakula

Colon Hydrotherpy is a safe and effective method of removing waste from the large intestine without the use of drugs. By introducing filtered and temperature regulated water into the colon, the waste is softened and loosened resulting in evacuation through natural peristalsis. This process is repeated several times during a session.

Why Should I Be Concerned About My Colon?
The colon has been referred to as the sewer system of the body. It is the place where we store the waste material that most of us do no want to think about until our health becomes poor, we feel constipated or have diarrhea.

Disease and functional disturbances of the digestive organs are the most frequently complained about problem today. The health of most organs as well as our overall well-being depends upon how well our bowels function.

Initial Consultation and Treatment $100.00
Colonic Treatment $ 85.00

Consider These Medical Facts

  - Over 400 million dollars are spend on laxatives in the U.S. annually
- Over 70 million Americans suffer from bowel problems
- 100,000 people undergo colostomies each year in the U.S.
- Worms our rank cancer as man’s deadliest enemy in a worldwide basis
- Colon cancer is the second leading cancer killer in the U.S.
- Over 100,000 Americans die annually due to colon cancer

These facts demonstrate that the medical profession recognizes the important role the colon plays in health and disease. The average food time in a healthy colon is 12 to 24 hours. Even movement once daily may indicate constipation depending on the amount of food consumed and the amount of stool evacuated.

What to Expect in My Colon Hydrotherapy Session?

Your medical history and objective for the session will be discussed. You will be provided with privacy while you change into a robe. Your will then be asked to pass your urine and your weight will be taken.

During therapy the client lies on a treatment table in complete comfort and is covered with a sheet or towel. From the hydrotherapy equipment a small disposable speculum is lubricated and gently inserted into the rectum through which warm filtered water passes into the colon.

A skilled, trained hydrotherapist will use several fills and release of water, as well as a combination of light abdominal massage techniques (if consented), reflexology and breathing instructions to dislodge toxic waste matter adhering to the walls of the colon. The dislodged fecal impactions are gently washed away through the system waster hose. Each colon hydrotherapy session lasts approximately 45 minutes. One should allow at least one hour per office visit. Initially, a series of three to six separate therapy session are recommended.

Conditions Responding to Colon Hydrotherapy

Colon Hydrotherapy eliminates from the bowel accumulated waste material, which otherwise may get absorbed. If these absorptions take place, it overwhelms the other organs such as the liver, the kidney, the skin and the lungs. The toxin deposition, which becomes lodged through the body’s tissue and cells, become capable of triggering a variety of illnesses.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the procedure painful?
Rarely, sometimes during the procedure the muscles of the colon contract suddenly, expelling considerable amount of liquid and waster into the rectum. The contraction may feel like cramping or gas with pressure in the rectum. Most of the process is mild and gentle with a wonderful light and empty feeling afterwards.

Will one cleansing empty the colon?

Almost never. Many of us have 10 to 15 pounds of impacted feces in our colon. This is hardened, rubbery material and substantial work must be done to remove it. One cleansing removes some, the second more. Your personal objective will determine how many you may wish to have.

Is the procedure safe and sanitary?

With the use of high-tech disposable apparatus, the equipment is made “new” every session. There is total hygienic safety.

Will laxative or enemas accomplish the same results?

During a colonic the water goes all the way through the 5 feet of the colon to the ileocecal valve (where the small and large intestines meet). An enema only gets into the first foot of the colon. Laxatives are an irritant causing the body to produce a thin watery substance that goes through the color and leaves behind impacted toxins and waster on the walls of the colon.
